The Alders Beach Resort is located on secluded Williams Beach in the village of Merville, between Courtenay and Campbell River on the sheltered East Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

Enjoy the tidal pools and forest trails. Explore the vast beach alive with sealife. Experience the joy of close contact with deer, seals and eagles. Four seasons of recreational activities are available in the local area, including skiing, golfing, cycling, hiking, scuba diving, boating, horseback riding and eco-tours. World-class fishing is only 34km north in Campbell River.

The Alders is ideal for family vacations, retreats and romantic getaways. The resort is very quiet and serene, being located right on the water, 6km from the main highway. All cottages have full kitchens and sleep between 4-8 guests. To foster the sense of escape, the cottages do not have televisions, radios or telephones, although a pay phone is available onsite.

Our summer guests return year after year, and there is a definite feeling of community.
